We're looking to hire a Delivery Driver who can provide exceptional customer service and delivery products to our customers. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products and providing the highest level of customer satisfaction. You must be a resourceful problem solver and have great driving skills; your goal will be to ensure the safe delivery of packages to our customers and report any issues or concerns.
Delivery drivers needed to cover areas within GTA and for Ancaster, Burlington, Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton area. Full time and Part time required with a starting and ending location being Ancaster ON. Driver Abstract, Clean Driving History is required and 3 Years Commercial driving is an asset. At this time, Monday to Friday deliveries using company vehicles, a 2-to-4 hour shift daily + additional hours as needed on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Cleanliness of the delivery bags, sanitize and wipe downs are performed on a daily basis. A successful job applicant should be able to meet deadlines in a timely manner despite traffic or route changes. Having the skills to be able to deliver company materials safely is extremely important. The job applicant should have the ability to solve basic problems that may arise on the job such as traffic or route changes. A Driver must have a valid license in the province they intend to work in. A job applicant should be able to relay any issues or problems to upper management that arise on the road, customer service oriented and always maintain professionalism with customers.
Cleanliness of the Trucks, Vans and Cargo Areas & wipe downs are performed on a daily basis.
Ensure all meal and food items being delivered remain intact during transport and delivery
Responsibilities:
Start and stop vehicle at appropriate times .
Deliver packages from point to point using proper vehicle operation and taking necessary precautions to avoid damages.
Track control and movement of vehicles using GIS system .
Inspect delivery vehicle for safety and legal compliance before and after each trip .
Communicate with customers or other parties involved in the delivery process.
Report delays, accidents or problems during the delivery process.
Conduct periodic inventory checks inside and outside of vehicle.
Load and unload packages in a safe manner while maintaining a clean vehicle.
Update records regarding deliveries made and return of leased fleet vehicles.
