What you'll be doing

Responsible for managing the co-ordination and completion of the Resident Assessment, Resident Assessment Protocols (RAPs) and care plans as assigned. Complies with MOH regulations regarding completion of the RAI- MDS process. Completes accurate coding of the RAI - MDS and care plan documentation for all residents. Continually updating knowledge base related to data entry and computer technology. Chair RAI meetings as required. Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications

3-5 years' experience in Long Term Care, experience with MDS. Current registration as RPN in good standing with the College of Nurses is required. Current RAI-MDS certification and AIS certification is required. Must be able to maintain complete confidentiality of information. Knowledge and experience with adult education strategies/facilitation. Strong analytical skills; knowledge in trending and analyzing data. Strong understanding of Point Click Care and RAI-MDS. Must be flexible to work variable shifts, self-directed and able to function in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual Competent completing care plans from scratch Passing AIS testing
