Summary of Position

This posting is for a Permanent Full-Time Educational Assistant

at McKitrick Community School,

to commence August 25, 2025.

Position hours are six (6) hours daily from Monday through Friday.

Educational Assistants are an important part of the school team and promote engagement, participation and success of students. The successful applicant will support core subject areas in both small groups and in the classroom. Basic knowledge of Grade 5-9 math concepts and the ability to independently facilitate teacher-planned lessons/activities is an asset.

Qualifications:

Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one (1) year relevant childcare experience Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program would be considered an asset
