Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Fast Food Attendant to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service, ensuring food quality, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.

Duties

Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling. Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and serve food promptly to ensure customer satisfaction. Handle cash transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and basic math calculations. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment following food safety standards. Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to comply with health regulations. Assist with food preparation during peak hours to support kitchen staff as needed. Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers efficiently during busy periods.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided. Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and transaction accuracy. Experience in upselling menu items to enhance sales is desirable.
