The company\xe2\x80\x99s success is based on our employees\xe2\x80\x99 dedication to providing total customer satisfaction by supplying superior quality asphalt products combined with strong, experienced technical support.Position SummaryIn this role, your responsibilities as a 4th class Power Engineer will include, but not be limited to, being responsible for monitoring a hot oil heater, off loading and loading trucks coming to the plant, controlling the heat of the tanks using hot oil heaters, manufacturing asphaltic products, loading and offloading tankers, operating mobile equipment, preventative maintenance and other general duties at the McAsphalt Langly Facilty. You will follow all standard operating procedures and policies established by the McAsphalt Operations departmentShift InformationYou will be required to work rotations between days, evenings and nights on different work schedules including continental shift, weekends and be available to work overtime as required.This position is starting on our afternoon shift. April 01st to October 31st \xe2\x80\x93 Shift is 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM. On November 01st to March 31st 12:00 PM \xe2\x80\x93 8:30 PM.Required Qualifications

• Power Engineer education with a valid 4th class steam ticket
• Previous experience with high pressure boilers a strong asset
• A strong work ethic and ability to work in small team(s)
• A reliable method of transportation to and from work in a timely manner
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, being responsible, resourceful and autonomous
• Ability to work outdoors, at height and in all environments
• Experience with pumps, piping, heat tracing, hot oil heaters will be considered an asset
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communications in English with a strong interpersonal attitude
• Pro\xef\xac\x81cient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel at the intermediate level with strong organizational skills
• Lastly, a good sense of humor will also be a great asset
