Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and qualified teacher assistant to join our team to assist Grade 12 Math courses.

Responsibilities:

- Assist online teacher in engaging and explaining math lessons for Grade 12 students in class

- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback on assignments, quizzes, and exams.

- Facilitate virtual class discussions and interactive activities to promote student engagement and critical thinking.

- Monitor student performance and provide additional support or resources as needed.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance and participation.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.

- Strong knowledge and experience in teaching Grade 12 math curriculum in Ontario.

- Experienced in teaching or assisting in an online or blended learning environment.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Technologically proficient with the ability to navigate online learning platforms and tools.

- Ability to work independently and adapt to the needs of individual students.

- Proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Contract

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
