Position Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic

Grade 11/12 Math Tutor

to provide

in-person tutoring sessions

in the Richmond Hill area. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching, patient with learners, and capable of breaking down challenging math concepts into simple, understandable steps.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one tutoring in high school mathematics (Grades 11-12), including Functions, Advanced Functions, and Calculus & Vectors. Assess student strengths and weaknesses to tailor lesson plans. Help students develop problem-solving strategies and exam preparation techniques. Maintain clear communication with parents and/or students about progress. Commit to a consistent tutoring schedule for the duration of the school term.
Qualifications

Strong academic background in Mathematics (minimum Grade 12 Advanced Functions/Calculus level; post-secondary math coursework preferred). Previous tutoring or teaching experience is an asset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to commute to Richmond Hill for in-person sessions. University students, recent graduates, or certified teachers are encouraged to apply.
