We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutor to support students in achieving their academic goals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, strong communication skills, and experience working with children. This role involves providing personalized instruction in various subjects, with a focus on math, computer science, and special education needs. The Tutor will play a vital role in fostering a positive learning environment and helping students build confidence and skills for academic success.

Responsibilities

Deliver one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs Assist students with understanding core concepts in math, computer science, or other subjects Develop customized lesson plans and educational materials to enhance learning outcomes Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents Incorporate engaging teaching methods to motivate students and improve comprehension Maintain a positive, encouraging attitude to foster a supportive learning environment Collaborate with teachers and staff to align tutoring strategies with classroom curricula Support students with special education requirements by adapting teaching techniques accordingly

Requirements

Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred Strong knowledge of math, computer science, or related subjects Experience with tutoring or teaching is highly desirable Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with classroom management and educational technology tools Background in special education or experience supporting diverse learning needs is a plus Ability to create engaging lesson plans and adapt to different learning styles Reliable, patient, and committed to helping students succeed

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
