Grade 7 Math Tutor

In-person 2 to 5 hours a week

About the Role

TutorCraft is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic tutor to help Grade 7 students excel in Math and Physics. If you're passionate about education and enjoy helping students build confidence in STEM subjects, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions for Grade 7 students in Math and Physics

- Explain complex concepts in an accessible and engaging manner

- Help students with homework, test preparation, and exam strategies

- Identify areas where students need improvement and develop customized learning plans

- Track student progress and provide feedback to students and parents

- Create a positive and encouraging learning environment

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of Grade 11 Math and Physics curriculum (Ontario curriculum preferred)

- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is an asset

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Patient, reliable, and able to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles

- Currently enrolled in or completed post-secondary education in Math, Physics, Engineering, or related field (preferred)

- Available for in-person sessions in Mississauga
