Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutor to support students in achieving their academic goals. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching IGCSE 0606 or IB math. The Tutor will play a vital role in fostering a positive learning environment and inspiring students to reach their full potential.
Duties
Deliver one-on-one or group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs Assist students with homework, test preparation, and understanding core concepts in subjects such as math, computer science, and special education Develop customized lesson plans and educational materials that align with curriculum standards Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians Utilize computer skills to incorporate educational technology and online resources into tutoring sessions
Experience
Prior experience working with children in an educational or tutoring setting is preferred Strong background in tutoring or teaching math, IGCSE, IB math Classroom experience is advantageous but not required
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Langley, BC V3A 1W7
