Job Description
Mathnasium of Langford, a math-only learning centre, is now hiring full-time/part-time math instructors for 2-5 shifts per week. We are looking to fill our team with those who possess a passion for math and who want to share their enthusiasm by inspiring others. Check out our website at www.mathnasium.ca/langford
At Mathnasium, we specialize in just one thing, teaching math in a way that makes sense to kids. The learning centre is a fun and supportive environment, encouraging kids at all skill levels. As part of the Mathnasium team, you can expect to earn a steady income working in a fun, collaborative environment at our learning centre in Langford(no travel is required to student's house).
We offer flexible working working hours: Monday - Thursday 3:30-7:30 pm and Sunday 1:00-5:00 pm. Expect 8 to 20 hours per week. All candidates must successfully pass a math literacy test.
Qualifications and Skills
Required Qualifications:
Exceptional math skills through Algebra, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus Ability to teach math to students in grades from K-10 Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills Ability to professionally interact with students and parents Energetic and confident personality
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous teaching experience or other experience working with students Ability to teach students in upper level high school math courses

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
