We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our educational team. Responsibilities

Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles. Educate students on mathematical concepts, theories, and applications through interactive teaching methods. Provide tutoring support to students who require additional assistance in understanding course material. Create a classroom environment that encourages student participation and promotes a love for mathematics. Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning. Collaborate with other educators and staff to support students with special education needs effectively. Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and advancements in mathematics education.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field. Teaching certification or licensure in Mathematics is preferred. Experience in classroom teaching or tutoring, particularly in mathematics subjects. Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex mathematical concepts to students. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate laboratory activities when applicable. Patience and adaptability to meet the needs of all students, including those requiring special education support. A passion for mathematics and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for all students.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
