A & A Learning Academy is currently looking for a

Math Teacher

to tutor students from Grades 9-12.

As a well-established tutoring school in Richmond Hill, we dedicate ourselves to providing our students, especially IB students, with the full support needed to meet each individual's academic needs.

Availability:

Be able to accommodate evenings after 4PM/full weekend hours. This is for a

Part-Time

position.

Qualifications:

Ontario Certified Teachers (OCT) preferred*, but will consider teachers/tutors with excellent teaching approaches and 3+ years of successful experience tutoring or teaching related to the Ontario Education Curriculum
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or similar Must be familiar with the Ontario Ministry of Education Curriculum Experience teaching the International Baccalaureate (IB) Math Curriculum is an asset Experience with Online Classroom Aids (such as YouTube, Kahoot!, Zoom Meetings, etc.) is an asset Enthusiastic and positive attitude, highly responsible; able to motivate and inspire students to improve Able to help students who have diverse educational backgrounds and learning abilities

:

Teach/tutor Grades 9-12 students in their Regular, Pre-IB, and IB Mathematic Studies Assess and Identify students' individual learning needs Assign and Correct homework Answer students' questions; Help students improve on their results Maintain frequent and effective communication with administration staff Evaluate and review the progress of students and report to management Must be comfortable with

both

teaching

in-person

and

online

(ie. Zoom Meetings, Google Classroom)

Compensation:

Hourly rate depending on the experience
Salary: Starting from $25.00 per hour
