Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Math Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop a love for mathematics and foster problem-solving skills through engaging lessons and innovative teaching methods. This position involves teaching students from Grades 2-12, including preparation for contests such as AMC, Gauss, and other math competitions.
Responsibilities
Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards. Teach mathematical concepts clearly and effectively, adapting instruction to meet diverse student needs. Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and contests, providing constructive feedback. Create a positive classroom environment that encourages participation and collaboration. Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues regarding academic performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field (Master's preferred). Previous teaching experience in math (including contest preparation). Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and effective teaching strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
