Math Teacher
Job Description
We are looking for dedicated professionals to join our team of Math teachers for K-G7 students. You will deliver various weekly classes, primarily for learners from Pre-K to Grade 7. The ideal candidate will be able to devote their time to teaching English at our school and engage students in conversation about social issues and other topics of interest.
Skills and qualifications: we are looking for include the following:
- Experience and qualifications in teaching Singapore Math to the young learner
- A good knowledge of teaching early numerous and logic math
- Patience and Confidence in communicating
- Driving is preferred
Contract length: 12 months
Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging math lesson plans tailored to diverse learning styles. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and communication. Assess student progress through tests and assignments, providing feedback to enhance learning. Support students with special educational needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching strategies. Offer tutoring sessions to reinforce math concepts and assist students outside of regular class hours.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
