About MPM Math

MPM Math is an internationally recognized math thinking program focused on:

Logical reasoning and problem decomposition Multi-step thinking and mathematical expression Hands-on learning with manipulatives Building a strong foundation for advanced math, STEM, and competitions

Responsibilities

Teach

MPM Math classes

to students aged

4-12

(small group or 1-on-1) Guide students to explain their thinking verbally and visually Observe and document students' learning progress and thinking patterns Collaborate with the academic team to maintain high teaching standards Communicate learning feedback to parents (templates and support provided)
Qualifications

Background in

Math, Engineering, Science, or Education

(Bachelor's degree or higher preferred) Enjoy working with children; patient, responsible, and reflective Strong English communication skills
(Mandarin and/or Cantonese are a plus)

Willing to learn and follow the MPM teaching system Teaching experience is an asset, but

strong learners are welcome even without prior experience

Preferred (Not Required)

Experience with

IB / AP / math competitions / Singapore Math / Montessori

Skilled in asking guiding questions rather than giving direct answers Interested in

long-term growth in education

, not short-term tutoring only

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$46.77 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 10 per week
