Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards Teach mathematics concepts ranging from basic arithmetic to advanced calculus Assess student progress through regular testing and assignments, providing constructive feedback Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration Utilize various teaching methods and technologies to enhance learning experiences Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding academic performance and behavior Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices

Experience

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field is required; Master's degree is preferred Previous teaching experience in mathematics at the middle or high school level is highly desirable Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and the ability to convey them effectively to students Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse learners Familiarity with educational technology tools and resources for teaching mathematics is a plus A valid teaching certification or license as required by state regulations

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
