Math Teachers/Tutors

to join our

in-person teaching team

Position Overview:

As a Math Teacher/Tutor at Go Beyond Academy, you will work with students from

Kindergarten through Grade 12

, including those enrolled in

Advanced Functions, Calculus and Vectors, and Data Management

. You will help students strengthen their understanding of mathematical concepts and achieve academic success through engaging, personalized instruction.

Responsibilities:

Deliver interactive and effective math lessons tailored to each student's learning style and goals. Teach concepts aligned with the

Ontario Curriculum

, from elementary through high school levels. Prepare students for

tests, EQAO assessments, and final exams

. Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with parents and the centre's academic team. Create a positive and supportive learning environment that motivates students to excel.

Qualifications:

Formal education in a related field is an asset (e.g.,

OCT certification, B.Ed., or a degree in Mathematics

).

University graduates or current undergraduates

in Math, Engineering, Education, or related fields with strong academic results are encouraged to apply. Previous

teaching or tutoring experience

is strongly preferred. Ability to teach across all math levels, including: Elementary Math (Grades K-8) High School Math (Grades 9-12) Advanced Functions (MHF4U), Calculus and Vectors (MCV4U), Data Management (MDM4U) Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for working with students. Dependable, professional, and capable of working independently or collaboratively.
