Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our in person team at Exploring Scholar. In this role, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in math, fostering a love for learning and critical thinking skills. Your contributions will be vital in shaping the academic success of our students.
Teachers will teach at our location in North York, ON, and ideal candidates will teach at a day school, or are in teacher's college or in an education related field. Teachers will work a minimum 4 hours per week.
Qualifications:
At this time priority will be given to math teachers who are available to teach Mondays and Fridays 7:15-9:15 pm Toronto time for in-person teaching, and Thursdays and Sundays 9-11 am for online teaching from July 3rd to August 25th.
Have teaching experiences in mathematics for any grade from grade 6 to grade 12 (required).
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Education with a focus on Mathematics is required; advanced degrees are a plus.
Teachers will have a strong academic proficiency and confidence in teaching mathematics, demonstrated during the selection process.
Instructors must be proficient in online teaching tools.

Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality lessons to small classes of students.
Prepare lessons within guidelines and Mark homework and assessments.
Help promote students' interests in the subject.
