Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and proven experience teaching Middle School (Grades 7-8) and High School (Grades 9-12), including subjects such as Advanced Functions, Calculus & Vectors, and Data Management.

Responsibilities:

Teach Mathematics for Grades 7-12 in alignment with the Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum and guidelines.

Deliver engaging lessons in topics including, but not limited to: Algebra, Trigonometry, Advanced Functions, Calculus, and Vectors.

Provide instruction in a small-group classroom setting (up to 4 students at varying levels).

Support students in building strong mathematical foundations and preparing for tests, exams, and advanced assessments.

Break down complex concepts into clear, understandable lessons tailored to each student's needs.

Encourage problem-solving, critical thinking, and confidence in mathematics.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field (minimum requirement).

Strong knowledge of the Ontario Grades 9-12 math curriculum, with emphasis on senior-level courses.

Prior teaching or tutoring experience with middle and high school students.

Excellent communication skills and ability to manage small-group instruction effectively.

Ability to motivate students and adapt teaching strategies to diverse learning styles.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
