Duties

Teach students in a one-on-one or small group setting, using the Mathnasium Method(TM) to improve their understanding of math concepts. Customize learning plans for students based on their individual strengths, weaknesses, and learning pace. Foster a positive, encouraging, and motivating learning environment that helps students build confidence and enthusiasm for math. Communicate regularly with parents and the Center Director about student progress. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your teaching skills and knowledge.

Experience

Strong proficiency in math, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and calculus (depending on the grade levels you'll be teaching). A passion for working with children and helping them succeed academically. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to explain complex math concepts in a clear, concise, and engaging manner. Experience in tutoring or teaching is a plus, but not required--training will be provided. Minimum of a bachelor's degree or coursework in math or education is a plus. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
