Job Description

We are looking for a passionate University student to teach Math and Science for our students in Grades 6 - Grade 12. Preference is for experienced Math Tutors. The tutors will guide the students, fill any gaps in their knowledge and help them improve their grades. You will need to assign extra practice after every class.

Previous experience with the curriculum in Ontario is a MUST.

Burlington residence is a MUST.

The minimum availability is twice a week (one weekday).

Only short-listed candidates will be contacted for an interview.

Responsibilities:

Manage and educate students in a non-classroom setting Establish academic goals and milestones with students Document and communicate progress reports Provide constructive feedback to students
?Qualifications:

Previous experience in teaching, tutoring Ability to build rapport with students Sufficient knowledge of core educational subjects Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
