The Material Management Administrator will be based out of Moncton, New Brunswick (220 Harrisville Boulevard, E1H 3N5) and will be responsible for the effective planning of materials used in diapers and training pants line with a key focus on optimizing raw material inventory levels to meet production demand and minimize liabilities. This is a permanent, full-time position. The primary language of work is English.

Job Requirements

• Post-secondary diploma
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar job, or other suitable combination of education and experience may be considered
• Keen understanding of planning and operations processes
• Organized, adaptable team player with the ability to work with a variety of departments such as operations, maintenance, warehouse, sales, customer service to accomplish objectives
• Advanced understanding and familiarity with MS Excel
• Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and maintain a professional approach

The main duties/responsibilities of this role include:

• Bill of Material Ownership

• Initiation of New Production Forms based on start sheets
• Update Bill of Materials in E2 based on Product Development Bill of material & Start sheets
• Ownership of bill of material accuracy for site planning as well as following up with PD on potential issues
• Update Routers & Router Speeds
• Manage Specification changes in E2 from Product Development requests
• Item Change Requests and New Product Set Up

• Publish Active Appian NPF Report & validate steps to ensure proper follow up is completed.
• Information compilation for Master data on phantom SKU\xe2\x80\x99s as well as Item modifications
• Update Appian raw material for which line items are run o
• Raw Material Appian initiation for Standardized product description
• UPC codes, work with check digit calculator to get UPC for Seconds
• Initiate Seconds New product forms
• Initiation of Reclassification of FG stocking type
• Material Planning Release

• Using Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) system, determine mid-term (17 weeks) raw material requirements forecast for Bags and Club Corrugate (Litho) for all converting lines
• Use JDE, generate purchase orders for materials
• Additional tasks

• Comply with safety policies and procedures
• Update year end BOM changes for usage and materials
• Facilitate budget changes as required
• Support cost saving initiatives
• Act as back up support for Production Planner
