JOB DESCRIPTION




AAA Canada is looking for a Materials Logistics Agent to enrich our team with their expertise. Reporting to the Operations Department, the Materials Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing the procurement, inventory, and flow of materials. He/she ensures that operational needs are met on time, on budget, and in accordance with quality standards, while contributing to the continuous improvement of processes.

Responsibilities



Manage the supply and flow of materials to meet operational needs within the planned budget. Ensure that parts are delivered on time and made available to the assembly line. Be responsible for ensuring that the final delivery schedule for parts is met. Ensure that obsolete or inactive stock is eliminated. Coordinate inter-site demand. Reduce deviations from plans by proposing quick solutions and raising stakeholder awareness of their impact on profitability, customer satisfaction, and employees. Manage inventory levels, inbound flows, and activities related to non-compliant materials. Publish planned orders and ensure documentation compliance (snags, C of Cs). Oversee inbound traffic and documentation according to internal and external requirements. Ensure engineering and manufacturing configuration (MAC PAC). Participate in continuous improvement projects (cost reduction, Six Sigma, SAP, TAC, BMIS, etc.). Support program management during reviews by communicating the impacts of schedule changes. Collaborate with procurement teams in negotiations and projects related to raw materials.

Skills and qualifications



Bachelor's degree in administration, operations management, or a related field. 5 to 8 years of experience in materials management and/or inventory management. Experience or internship in external production (OP) - an asset. Knowledge or experience with SAP - an asset. Strong sense of ethics and customer focus. Excellent analytical, planning, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Bilingualism (French English) in both spoken and written communication is an important asset for communication in the multilingual environment of the customer's site and for technical documentation.
