Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our warehouse team. This role is essential for ensuring the accurate and efficient movement of goods, managing inventory, and maintaining smooth shipping and receiving operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse distribution, heavy equipment operation, and familiarity with warehouse management systems. This position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, supporting the overall logistics and supply chain functions of our organization.

Responsibilities

Load and unload shipments using heavy equipment such as forklifts, and other heavy machinery Ensure proper handling of goods during shipping and receiving processes Maintain safety standards while operating heavy equipment and handling materials Assist in organizing warehouse space for efficient storage and retrieval of items Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving targets Support construction or warehouse setup projects as needed

Requirements

Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related fields Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation such as forklift, and load & unload procedures Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse environment Prior experience in construction or similar industries is a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks as required
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
