Material Handler/general Labourer Truro
Job Description
John Ross & Sons is currently seeking Material Handlers to join our team in Truro! As the largest scrap metal recycling facility in Atlantic Canada, we seek energetic and safety minded individuals to join our expanding team!
Important to note: We currently cannot accept work permits. Applicants must have permanent residency or citizenship
Primary Responsibilities:
Cleaning equipment
Maintain organized inventory
Maintain clean work environment
Other duties as assigned
Manual labour involved
Picking Line, sorting material off the line
Qualifications and Skills:
Steel toed boots
Ability to carry and lift up to 50lbs repetitively
Ability to work outside full-time in all weather conditions
Ability to maintain and organize inventory is a priority
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday: 7am-5pm, Saturdays: 7:30am-12pm
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
