TrueFoam is seeking a reliable and safety-focused

Material Handler

to join our production team and help keep materials moving smoothly throughout our facility. If you're organized, certified to operate forklifts, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

Transport EPS beads, additives, packaging, and finished products between production lines, silos, and storage areas Ensure machines are stocked with required materials (e.g., pre-expanded beads, film rolls, boxes) to avoid production interruptions Move in-process materials to secondary processing areas and clear finished goods from production areas promptly Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or vacuum conveyors safely to move and stage materials Record material transfers and usage in NetSuite; report low stock levels, discrepancies, or missing items Assist shippers/receivers during high-volume deliveries or outgoing shipments Keep storage areas organized, label products properly, and rotate stock according to FIFO/LIFO practices Identify and report damaged goods or contaminated materials immediately Support daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts as required Follow PPE requirements, equipment lockout/tagout procedures, and safe movement practices in shared work areas

Qualifications

Education:

Grade 12 diploma or equivalent experience

Certification:

Forklift license

Experience:

Previous material handling or warehouse experience is an asset

Skills:

Ability to safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment Attention to detail Strong organization and communication skills Willingness to learn production procedures Effective teamwork and communication Reliability and punctuality
