Worley Canada Construction is seeking a Materials Handler for a field project to work with our existing project team across Alberta and Saskatchewan.
Responsibilities:

  • Escort loads onto site, as required.
  • Complete load assessments of incoming deliveries prior to unload.
  • Conduct driver orientations, as required.
  • Unload materials and conduct physical inspections of material, checking for overages, shortages, and damages.
  • Review and log any OS&D or documentation deficiencies on packing slips.
  • Take photographs during the receiving process.
  • Picking of material as directed to complete work packages and deliver to the work face in a timely manner.
  • Appropriately store material according to manufacturers' storage guidelines.
  • Ensure material has adequate markings per internal procedures to be clearly identifiable and traceable.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized laydown area according to the site laydown plan.
  • Appropriately track the location of stored materials.
  • May be required to use a tablet throughout the materials receiving process.
Qualifications
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a construction material receiving role.
  • Familiarization with material shipping documents and quality records.
  • Must have a driverxe2x80x99s license and a reliable means of transportation.
  • Experience with Aveva ERM or Site Sense would be considered an asset.
  • Equipment experience, including forklift, zoom boom, is considered an asset.
  • Previous experience in a construction environment in the domestic oil and gas industry is preferred.
