Our team is growing, we are looking for an experienced Material Handler to join our team on a full time basis.Our Chilliwack distribution warehouse is the Leader in the commercial Food equipment industry.
We are service focused Foodies who value integrity, team work, resourcefulness and fairness. We are currently looking for Warehouse Associates to join our Operations team.What you need to know:-This is a full-time position, the ideal candidate will need to be available to start immediately.
-Location: Chilliwack, BC
-Schedule: Monday-Friday
-Shift time: 8-4:30PM
-Wage: $19/HR
-You can meet the shift, schedule and job requirements
-Transit accessible
-You have Steel Toe Boots
-You are legally permitted to work Fulltime in British ColumbiaAdvantages

-Loading, unloading and moving products and materials to designated locations in the warehouse, and assisting in picking and placing orders
-Checking received orders and confirming that all inventory transactions are completed and documented
-Loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or equipment
-Picking orders and preparing them for shipping, including: stacking, wrapping, packing and crating products
-Participating in cleanup and maintenance
-Performing other handling duties such as: counting, weighing, and sorting
-Putting away received materials in the proper storage locations
-Ability to carry, lift, move product/supplies in excess of 50lbsQualifications
-Team player, adaptable, and energetic with a positive professional attitude
-Previous experience in a warehouse environment, and are comfortable operating various types of machinery
-Ideal candidate would have a minimum of 2 years of warehousing experience
-Knowledge of safe lifting and handling techniques
-Ability to carry, lift, move product/supplies in excess of 50lbs
-Comfortable with technology and able to learn new programs
-Previous experience working with pallet jacks an asset
-Have strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
-Are great at communicating with others in both verbal and written format
-Steel toe boots will be mandatory
-A reliable means of transportation is an asset or access to transit
