:Safety-Kleen Calgary, AB is looking for a Material Handler to join their safety conscious team! This is an hourly based position with opportunity for overtime. The primary job duties will be managing warehouse duties, handling and assist in the organizing of hazardous materials, inventory responsibilities, and shipping and receiving responsibilities.Why work for Safety-Kleen?

Responsibilities:

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Admin duties such as labelling, printing, and organizing route sheets is required;
• Own warehouse duties and procedures as required;
• Shipping and Receiving responsibilities;
• Ability to assist with the packaging, segregation, and handling of hazardous waste;
• Ability to wear respirator for work;
• Ability to lift boxes, move drums with a drum dolly, and move pallets, and material;
• Ability to take on responsibilities, be a self starter, and work on their own.
• Ability to work on computers -Microsoft Office, and internal systems.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years\' experience in a warehouse environment
• Knowledge of hazardous material transportation, handling, and disposal procedures, as well as regulatory requirements
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment including respiratory protection
• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience overseeing and training staff in a warehouse environment
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with computer software such as Microsoft Office
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification or training in hazardous material handling and transportation is an asset;
• Clean Shaven for work to wear respirators for handling of materials;
• Class 5 License required for position;
