Material Coordinator

you will be a vital role of our operations by ensuring the smooth flow of materials throughout the facility. You will be responsible for storing and distributing materials while maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Join us and be part of our commitment to excellence in manufacturing!

Duties



Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment. Perform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing, and unpacking. Operate winches and other loading devices to load and unload materials onto and off trucks. Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock; recording inventory locations; and reporting shortages. Organize and store materials in appropriate locations, ensuring proper handling and preventing damage. Maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and performing basic operator-level repairs. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to safely move items throughout the facility. Adhere to all regulations and company policies related to material handling and packaging. Report any issues related to materials, equipment, packaging, or safety to supervisors. Identify opportunities to improve material handling and packaging processes and suggest enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy. Learn and follow all workplace safety procedures and regulations. Coordinate daily material handling and packaging activities to ensure smooth and timely workflow. Monitor packaging processes to ensure materials and products are securely and accurately wrapped, labeled, and prepared for shipment or storage. Communicate with other departments to prioritize material handling and packaging needs based on production or shipping schedules. Complete and maintain accurate records of materials received, stored, packaged, and shipped. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 55 per week
