This position is presently located at the St. Thomas OR Woodstock site.

This posting is for one (1) current vacancy.

This position is anticipated to extend until December 31, 2025, subject to availability of work and funding.



We are seeking a graduate-level business student to support the Corporate Services division with data collection, analysis, and visualization. The successful candidate will work on developing a dashboard to present key organizational data in a clear and accessible way. They will analyze data sets, interpret results, identify trends, and provide insights and recommendations to inform decision-making and improve internal processes.



Key Responsibilities:



Collect, organize, and clean data from various internal sources Analyze corporate data to identify patterns and trends Design and build a dashboard for reporting key indicators Prepare reports, summaries, and presentations to communicate findings Collaborate with staff across departments to understand data needs and context Make data-informed recommendations to support planning and performance monitoring

Education Requirements:



Currently enrolled in a graduate-level program ideally in Business Administration, Public Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field

Skills and Abilities:



Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel)Proficient in analyzing and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional environment Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Special Conditions:



Valid Ontario driver's license and reliable access to an insured working vehicle. A criminal reference check completed within the last six (6) months from a Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC), inclusive of judicial matters check, will be required of the successful candidate.

Terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with the Employment Agreement.

Salary:

$25.00/hr (70 hours in a two-week period).

Will receive vacation pay each pay period.

A criminal reference check completed within the last six (6) months from a Canadian Police Information Centre (CPID), inclusive of judicial matters screening, will be required of the successful candidate.



Immunization Requirements:

Fully vaccinated against COVID-19, are able to provide proof of immunization, and acknowledgement to follow Southwestern Public Health's policies and processes related to COVID-19 management in the workplace.
