We are growing rapidly and seeking a
licensed Master Plumber
to lead plumbing projects, mentor apprentices, and ensure work is completed in compliance with code, safety, and quality standards.
Role Overview
The Master Plumber will play a key leadership role in executing plumbing projects, overseeing installations, troubleshooting, and providing technical expertise to our field teams. You will work on a variety of high-rise residential and commercial mechanical projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee plumbing installations, repairs, and upgrades in high-rise and commercial buildings.
Supervise and mentor plumbers and apprentices.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
Ensure strict compliance with Ontario Plumbing Code, safety standards, and project specifications.
Install, maintain, and repair domestic water, sanitary, storm, and hydronic systems.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and property managers to plan and execute work.
Provide input into estimates, material take-offs, and project schedules.
Conduct site inspections and testing to ensure quality assurance.
Support emergency service calls and troubleshooting as required.
Qualifications
Valid Ontario Master Plumber License (mandatory).
5+ years of plumbing experience, with exposure to high-rise or commercial mechanical projects.
Ability to read and understand plumbing and mechanical drawings.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience with hydronic risers, pump systems, backflow devices, boilers, and HVAC-related plumbing work.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior staff.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to sites across the GTA.
What We Offer
Hourly compensation:
$45 - $65 per hour
(based on experience).
