Master Data Management Architect (Manager)

You are:
A hands-on Solution Architect who knows how to develop, design, and maintain technologies that work for our clients. You are a next-generation thinker when it comes to what we call Data in the New. And you know how to come up with strategies, solutions, and processes for managing enterprise-wide data throughout the data life cycle. What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing:

\xc2\xb7 Design MDM solution with Informatica tools and utilities such as SaaS data integration and data quality components (e.g., IICS, CDQ etc.)

\xc2\xb7 Defining Master Data Management strategies, designing MDM services and capabilities, Metadata Management, Data Governance, and Data Quality solutions ((e.g., IICS, Informatica CDQ, Informatica CDGC, Collibra etc.)

\xc2\xb7 MDM Hub Data modeling & Data Mapping, Data validation, Match and Merge rules, building and customizing services with SaaS MDM tools like Informatica C360/B360, Reltio etc. and enterprise data integration technologies and methods such as ETL, data replication, and data services.

\xc2\xb7 Enterprise level data analysis and integration work and/or providing data focused systems integration solutions that demonstrate business acumen and the ability to apply technology solutions to solve business problems.

\xc2\xb7 Support Installation and perform administration functions for the industry popular MDM architecture/platform including custom objects. Own technical deliverables including the codebase.

\xc2\xb7 Support development of "data models", and define MDM rules for best matching algorithm, configure identity matching and workflows and implementation of master data management processes including master data attributes, survivorship, master record onboarding, enrichment sources, bulk upload, data quality validations and golden records publication.

\xc2\xb7 Participate and contribute to data source identification, data mapping, functional design, and detail design.

Job Qualifications

Here\xe2\x80\x99s what you need:

• A minimum of 5 years in a role that discovered captures the current state of the system, encompassing processes such as data discovery, profiling, inventories.
• A minimum of 5 years that defined the data architecture for Master data management with expert level knowledge on- At least one popular MDM Platform (Informatica, Reltio, Stibo, IBM)

- Data Layers (e.g. raw, curated)
- Integration design (e.g. APIs), ETL (Extract, Transform & Load), velocity (e.g. streaming) \xe2\x80\x93 Informatica, Snaplogic, Boomi etc.
- Data architecture design patterns * A minimum of 5 years that defined the data architecture for cloud native data management with focus to- (Business) Data Definitions & Metadata

- Reference Data Management
- Master Data Management (core & critical business data entities)
- Data Lineage * A minimum of 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in- Data Storage Tools & Techniques such as:

- Data Architecture Estimation * English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company\'s activities to avoid this requirement.

Bonus Points if:

- Expertise in using Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark, Pig, Hive technologies, Data Ingestion in Data Lake, Data Storage on key Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), Redshift, Data Retrieval on Big Data platforms and Interfacing Data Science and Data Visualization tools on Big Data platforms
- Experience in Data Modeling, Big Data Platforms (e.g. Cloudera, Hortonworks, AWS, Talend, etc.), Data Migration and Quality (using ETL e.g Informatica), MySQL/NoSQL, CQRS Event Sourcing
- working as a consultant or directly with clients
- in a role that had taken ownership of the data assets for the organization to provide users with high-quality data that is accessible in a consistent manner.
- performing ad-hoc Data extraction and archival; Managing Data life-cycle
- facilitating Data cleansing and enrichment through data de-duplication and construction
- Defining the policies & standards for cloud native data management for structured, semi- and unstructured data us in a role that defined the data architecture for cloud native data management with focus to
- Business process flows to support data sourcing & lineage
- Data Modelling methodologies & tools
- Reference Architectures in a role that defined, the data management vision & strategies, managing the change journey and/or playing serving as the \xe2\x80\x9carchitect\xe2\x80\x9d to design and scale end to end data management with special focus to
- Data Quality Rules & KPIs
- Automated Data Cleansing (e.g. use of AI / ML)
- Compliance Rules & KPIs
- Data democratization
- Data security
- Compliance & security policies for data access, use & integration

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired in British Columbia as set forth below.
