Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massotherapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality massage therapy services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires a deep understanding of various massage techniques and the ability to tailor treatments to meet individual client needs.

Duties

Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. Assess clients' physical conditions and discuss their preferences to create personalized treatment plans. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and in good working condition. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices. Keep accurate records of client sessions, including treatment notes and progress updates. Uphold professional standards of conduct, ensuring client confidentiality and comfort at all times. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques.

Qualifications

Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy is required. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage modalities. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed. Previous experience in a spa or wellness center setting is preferred but not mandatory. A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education in massage therapy practices.
