We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Massotherapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for helping clients achieve relaxation and relief through therapeutic massage techniques. As a Massotherapist, you will create a welcoming environment, assess client needs, and provide tailored treatments that promote overall well-being.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their individual needs and health conditions. Perform various types of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and therapeutic massages. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use. Document client sessions accurately, noting any changes in health or preferences for future reference. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices. Collaborate with other wellness professionals to enhance the overall client experience. Adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff.

Experience

Certification from an accredited massage therapy program is required. A valid state license to practice massage therapy is essential. Previous experience in a spa or wellness center is preferred but not mandatory. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it relates to massage therapy techniques. Excellent communication skills to effectively explain treatment plans and address client concerns.
