Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. In this role, you will provide therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them to relieve stress, alleviate pain, and enhance their overall well-being. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various massage techniques and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties

Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. Assess client conditions by reviewing medical history and discussing concerns to create personalized treatment plans. Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices. Document client sessions accurately, including treatment provided and any changes in client condition. Collaborate with other wellness professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Skills

Proficient knowledge of medical terminology to effectively communicate with clients about their conditions and treatments. Strong customer service skills to create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure client satisfaction. Excellent communication skills for effectively discussing treatment options and addressing client concerns. Ability to maintain professionalism while building rapport with clients. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it pertains to massage therapy practices.
