We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage services that promote relaxation, relieve muscle tension, and enhance overall well-being. This role requires excellent customer service skills, strong communication abilities, and a solid understanding of medical terminology related to massage therapy. The Massage Therapist will work in a welcoming environment dedicated to improving clients' health and comfort through personalized treatments.
Duties
Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other therapeutic techniques.
Assess clients' physical conditions and discuss their health concerns to determine appropriate treatment plans.
Maintain detailed records of treatments provided and client progress.
Ensure a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for clients before, during, and after sessions.
Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend exercises or stretches as needed.
Uphold all health and safety standards in compliance with licensing regulations and industry best practices.
Build strong rapport with clients through excellent customer service and effective communication skills.
Qualifications
Valid massage therapy license or certification as required by state regulations.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology.
Proven experience in providing various massage techniques with a focus on client satisfaction.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
Excellent interpersonal skills to create a welcoming and professional environment.
Ability to listen attentively to client needs and tailor treatments accordingly.
