Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and gentle Massage Therapist to provide massage to our elderly parents who has Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic massage that promotes relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. The massage will take place in our parents' home, twice a week, one hour for each parent - Tuesdays 4 to 6 pm or Wednesdays 10 am to 12 noon, or Saturdays 4 to 6 pm.

$60/hr is on payroll. Relevant taxes will be deducted including CPP, EI and income tax.

Duties

Perform relaxing and gentle massage to an elderly female who has very stiff muscles due to Parkinson's. She is bedridden. Perform relaxing massage to an elderly male who has diabetes and dementia to promote overall well-being. Uphold professional standards of conduct and confidentiality at all times

Skills

Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail Certification from an accredited massage therapy program preferred New grads welcome to apply Compassionate and gentle
