This independent contractor role offers the flexibility to set your own schedule while providing high-quality massage services to clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent patient service abilities, and a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology to deliver effective treatments. Experience in med spa environments and occupational health is a plus. Responsibilities

Provide professional massage therapy services including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques tailored to individual client needs Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure safety during sessions Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment in compliance with health and safety standards Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness strategies to promote ongoing health benefits Manage appointment schedules efficiently, ensuring timely service delivery Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to all licensing, regulatory, and professional standards Stay informed about the latest developments in massage therapy techniques and occupational health practices

Skills

Proven experience with patient service, assessment, and treatment planning Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management modalities Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Excellent customer service skills with a compassionate approach toward clients Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail Familiarity with med spa procedures and occupational health practices is preferred Effective communication skills for explaining treatment benefits and post-care instructions Commitment to ongoing professional development in massage therapy techniques and healthcare standards
