We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping clients achieve relaxation and relief from stress through therapeutic massage techniques. This role requires a deep understanding of medical terminology, strong customer service abilities, and excellent communication skills to ensure a positive experience for all clients.
Duties
Provide professional massage therapy services tailored to individual client needs.
Assess client conditions and discuss treatment plans based on their specific concerns.
Utilize various massage techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Document client progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary.
Foster strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat visits and referrals.
Qualifications
Certification or licensure in massage therapy from an accredited institution.
Knowledge of medical terminology to effectively communicate with clients and healthcare professionals.
Proven customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
Strong communication skills to clearly explain treatment options and address client inquiries.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.
