We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Duties

Provide high-quality massage therapy services tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and therapeutic massages. Maintain a clean and organized treatment room, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly sanitized and stored. Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their health history, preferences, and any specific areas of concern. Utilize medical terminology to accurately document client progress and treatment plans in accordance with industry standards. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices as appropriate. Uphold a professional demeanor at all times while fostering a welcoming environment for clients.

Qualifications

Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy is required. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy, physiology, and common conditions treated through massage therapy. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly. Effective communication skills to clearly explain treatment options and address client questions or concerns. Previous experience in a spa or wellness center setting is preferred but not mandatory.
