Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. This role is available as we are saying good-bye to a valued team member who is moving away. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various massage techniques and the ability to provide personalize treatment plans to meet client goals.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. Assess client conditions by reviewing medical history and conducting intake interviews and assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide recommendations for follow-up treatments or self-care practices. Document treatment sessions accurately in client records, including any changes in health status or concerns expressed by clients. Collaborate with other wellness professionals to enhance the overall client experience and promote holistic health solutions.

Requirements

Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) in good standing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for clients. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure clear understanding of information with clients, other healthcare providers, and insurance companies. Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required.
