We are seeking a compassionate and professional Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service, ensuring each client receives a personalized and satisfying experience. A background in medical terminology is preferred to enhance understanding of client needs and health considerations. The Massage Therapist will play a vital role in creating a calming environment that supports our clients' health goals.
Responsibilities
Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities.
Assess clients' physical condition and discuss their health concerns to determine appropriate treatment plans.
Maintain accurate records of treatments provided and client progress.
Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of massage equipment and treatment areas in compliance with health regulations.
Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend exercises or stretches as needed.
Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming, relaxing environment for all clients.
Stay current with industry best practices and new techniques through ongoing education and training.
Requirements
Valid massage therapy license or certification as required by albert regulations.
Knowledge of medical terminology to understand client health histories and communicate effectively with healthcare providers if necessary.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with clients and address their concerns professionally.
Excellent communication skills to explain treatments clearly and listen attentively to client feedback.
Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a calm, relaxing environment.
Prior experience in massage therapy is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for new therapists committed to learning and growth in the field.

Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour
