Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional therapeutic massage services to clients, ensuring a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The Massage Therapist will be responsible for assessing clients' needs, applying appropriate techniques, and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical conditions and discuss their needs and preferences. Perform various massage techniques tailored to individual client requirements, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress while respecting confidentiality. Communicate effectively with clients to explain treatment plans and provide aftercare advice. Stay updated on the latest massage techniques and industry trends through continuous education. Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment for clients.

Qualifications

Valid state license or certification in massage therapy. Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred to enhance communication with clients regarding their health conditions. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Excellent communication skills to effectively convey treatment options and address client concerns. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Previous experience in a spa or wellness center is a plus but not required.
