Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage services to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to deliver effective treatments tailored to individual needs. Candidates with experience in medical spa environments and occupational health are highly preferred. Responsibilities

Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client-specific concerns Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual health conditions and goals Provide pain management solutions through targeted massage therapy interventions Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend ongoing wellness practices Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, client progress, and treatment plans in compliance with healthcare standards Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients at all times Stay updated on the latest techniques and industry best practices through continuous professional development

Skills

Strong patient service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction Expertise in patient assessment and developing personalized treatment plans Proficiency in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other therapeutic modalities Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Ability to manage pain relief effectively through various massage techniques Excellent communication skills to educate clients and collaborate with healthcare professionals when necessary Experience in medical spa settings or occupational health environments is a plus Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, professionalism, and confidentiality

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
