Responsibilities

Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address specific client concerns. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual physiology and health history. Educate clients on post-treatment care, occupational health considerations, and pain management strategies. Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, patient progress, and relevant medical terminology in compliance with clinic standards. Ensure a welcoming, professional environment by delivering exceptional patient service and fostering positive client relationships. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and certifications related to med spa services and anatomy knowledge. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care when necessary.

Experience

Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with a focus on patient assessment and customized treatment plans. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management. Prior work in a med spa or occupational health setting is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and address their unique needs. Familiarity with deep tissue massage techniques, trigger point therapy, and other therapeutic modalities. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development through certifications or specialized training in massage therapy or related fields.

Pay: From $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 35 per week
