Duties

Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and identify areas of concern Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health, and injury prevention strategies Maintain detailed records of treatments, progress notes, and client feedback in compliance with health regulations Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care when necessary Manage patient service interactions with empathy, professionalism, and excellent customer service skills Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and relevant medical terminology to enhance service quality

Qualifications

Valid registration as a licensed or certified Registered Massage Therapist in accordance with local licensing requirements Proven experience in providing massage therapy services, especially in med spa or occupational health settings preferred Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Skilled in patient assessment, pain management techniques, and deep tissue massage modalities Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and address their concerns effectively Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining licensure standards

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00-$79.63 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
