Responsibilities

Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to each client's needs, including techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, or sports massage Assess client needs and develop customized treatment plans Maintain a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for clients before, during, and after sessions Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness practices Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation procedures Communicate effectively with clients to ensure comfort and address any concerns or preferences

Skills

Knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and ensure client satisfaction Excellent communication skills for explaining treatment plans and post-care instructions Ability to listen attentively and adapt techniques based on individual client needs Professionalism, empathy, and discretion in handling sensitive client information Certification or licensing as required by state regulations is preferred but not mandatory for internship positions; however, all therapists must be licensed or certified as per local laws.

Pay: Up to $28.00 per hour
