We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic massage services to clients, promoting relaxation and overall well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, excellent customer service skills, and effective communication abilities to ensure a positive experience for all clients.
Duties
Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and health histories before each session.
Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual client goals and preferences.
Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
Maintain a clean and organized treatment space, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary.
Document client progress and treatment outcomes accurately in accordance with clinic policies.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care when needed.
Skills
Proficient in medical terminology relevant to massage therapy practices.
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey treatment plans and recommendations.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
